I have put a couple of videos on the page for you to watch.
The first video explains what "Surrealism" is in artwork.
The second video is about a Spanish artist who created surrealistic paintings.
Sometimes, it is fun to create a surrealistic picture.
Try to think of two things that don't go together, and then draw it!
For example:
*a swimming taco
*a lizard celebrating a birthday
*a shark eating a cupcake
*your sister/brother/family as an alien
*you surfing to school
*a tree that grows pizza
*a cat sneezing flowers
You can think of your own too! Go ahead and draw your picture any way you want. Elephants can fly in surrealistic artwork! Have fun!
